Please describe your camp’s planned interactivity and offerings that will occur within your camp.

LED Art Installation (last year we built a silent DJ stage with a live LED audio visualization wall, this year rather than revive that project, we plan on building another LED project of similar scale)

Hammock Lounge (last year we built a public lounge filled with benches and hammocks, it was a huge hit. This year we plan on expanding the area with additional hammocks and better shade coverage to provide sun relief for the public)

Movie Theater (an in progress project, we plan on hosting a 24/7 movie area featuring odd esoteric films and video clips. The theme: Interdimensional Cable)

Cocktail Bar (every year we contribute to building a bar at Golden Guy, this year, bandwidth permitting we’d like to additionally host our own cocktail bar next to the movie theater and/or hammock lounge).

Physical Changes

The increased hammock lounge and addition of a movie theater will require additional space. All other aspects remain unchanged.

10 Principles Acculturation

Our camp was created to help bring new members into the burning man community. We spend a lot of time leading up to the event involving new members in our planning process and holding sessions to talk about the principles. In particular, we focus on Leave no Trace, Participation, and Radical Self Expression.

Leave No Trace: we frequently remind members to take out what you bring in. We're grateful for the time we share on the Playa and wish to be good citizens of the event. All members are required to stay an extra day to help with moop cleanup

Participation: we encourage new members to find and host events that they are excited about. We include them early in our planning process and during the event use camp breakfast to share what we're excited about for the day, inviting new members to come and play
