g’Morning folks! You’re receiving this announcement because you committed to take part in the 2022 Stewards Sale which will take place from March 9, 2022 12:00 PM (PST) to March 11, 2022 12:00 PM (PST). To prepare, we’ve got some information for you.
<aside> ⚠️ If you no longer wish to take part in the Stewards Sale please let us know ASAP so that we can allocate your tickets to another camp member.

Returning members are all set! No need to do anything else. Your Burner Profile has already been registered using your RSVP email (you are unable to register yourself, your camp lead is responsible for adding you to the event). We’ll reach out to you next week to remind you about the sale.
Welcome to Burning Man! It’s going to be a blast and thanks for helping the camp purchase our Stewards tickets 🙂 In order to purchase tickets you need to register with Black Rock City by creating a Burner Profile before March 1, 2022. Please reach out to Hunter ([email protected]) immediately after doing this with the email linked to your account so that he can register you for the sale. If you do not do this, you will be unable to participate in the sale.
From Planning FAQ
The Stewards Sale (formerly the Directed Group Sale) ensures that those critical to the culture of Burning Man, crews for theme camps, art installations, mutant vehicles, Black Rock City infrastructure providers, and groups supporting sustainability and R.I.D.E. efforts gain access to tickets. Notably, participants will not need to take part in the ticket lotteries later in the year.
Put simply, tickets to Burning Man are sold in a lottery around April. Because camp members are not guaranteed to receive a ticket during this lottery, the city provides a limited number of pre-allocated tickets to each camp to ensure that they can bring core organizers.
You could be!! A number of our planners and builders are taking part in the Stewards Sale this year in addition to some new campers (we often include a few folks who aren’t part of the core planning group to ensure that we can purchase the full ticket allocation). If you’d like to be more involved, we’d be happy to pull you in. Reach out to Hunter ([email protected]) or Luke ([email protected]) for more information.
