To summarize the important details

• Please do NOT forget to purchase the maximum ticket allocations of 2 event passes and 1 vehicle pass. Any excess tickets will be purchased from you by the camp and redistributed to other members.

• If you do not know where you will be living in July (when tickets ship) or Black Rock City doesn't ship to your address, consider mailing your tickets to 21 Buena Vista Ave E San Francisco, CA 94117 addressed to your name

• If you are NOT selected by the lottery system, don’t fret! We’ll help you purchase tickets on the secondary market in June - August. However, please make sure you fill out our ticket tracking form so that we know you tried to purchase tickets. You will be bumped to the bottom of our ticket waiting list if you do not show us that you took part in the main sale.

Post Main Sale: Mar 31, 2022, 2:40 PM Hey everyone, I'm sure you're all worried about tickets after the main sale, so I wanted to take a moment to reassure all of you: We have never had an issue getting tickets for members. This will be my fifth burn and Jeremy's seventh, and the main sale has ALWAYS been a disaster. Whatever rumors you may have heard about tickets being an impossibility to acquire, rest assured that you can plan on coming to the playa this year, and we encourage you to continue being excited.

This morning, we submitted our placement application, and we wanted to share with you our three major pieces of interactivity that we have planned for the camp:

As the camp landmark, we host the “Sunset Cube” a 8’ x 8’ x 8’ brightly glowing cube which slowly rotates through vaporwave-sunset colors. Cargo netting fastened inside the cube allows passerby’s to lounge within the light-show and immerse themselves in the experience.

Leaning into the theme, Waking Dreams, this year we’re bringing our “Dreamcatcher” to Playa: a 10ft diameter dome where AI-generated dreams are projected onto the inside ceiling. Come cuddle in the intimate space and watch hallucinatory images morph from one subject to another. In addition to the default dreamscape, every midnight we’ll be using the space to host viewings of esoteric art films.

Providing something only we can bring to Playa, we leverage our international community to serve street food from around the world. Choripán from Argentina, Crêpes from France, Rösti from Switzerland, and more. We hope that our “International Faire” brings burners in and our “Dreamcatcher” keeps them

100 days: Jun 6, 2022, 11:41 AM We had a great time in 2019. We thought we’d have a great time in 2020. We thought we’d be able to pull it together in 2021. But we’re excited to announce that in 2022, Take it Easy is BACK. We’re thrilled to bring you a massive update and get you excited about the Burn which happens in less than 3 months! Long time burners are aware, but to the virgins, the burn is a huge commitment and a lot of work, so we’ll get right to the chase.

• What we’ve been up to:

  • Thanks to the tireless dedication of @Daniel Haaser, Take it Easy is now an incorporated! Take it Easy LLC is a non-profit corporation in the state of Nevada! (Note: we are NOT a charity, which means your donations are not tax deductible)
  • We have continued inventorying everything the camp owns
  • We’ve begun ordering water, trailers, and all equipment we will need on the Playa
  • We’ve been planning our art installations and our builds
  • We’ve been working on the events we’ll have in the book this year

• What we need from you:

  • Commit to coming!
  • Get involved!
  • Reach out to myself or Hunter to get involved in build days. We need all the hands we can get in the coming months, so please reach out! Even if you aren’t local to the Bay Area, we have active members in New York and Europe!

• Camp Dues

  • We know you’re stressing about getting tickets, and we know everyone is. The easiest way to secure a ticket is to pay your camp dues, commit, and get involved! We will move Heaven and Earth to get tickets for our members, and the earlier you are part of Take it Easy, the earlier we can ensure that you’ll have a ticket!
  • This year, we are asking for a donation in the range of $400 to $1000. Your camp dues will help pay for costs such as improvements to our camp infrastructure, UHaul rentals to get our supplies to the playa, potable water deliveries, and grey water disposal.

Mid-June Updates: Wed Jun 15th

Hey everyone, You’ve all asked about getting involved, and I have a few updates to bring you now:

3. I’m planning a few video calls for me and Hunter to field questions about how you can all get involved. You’re all on vastly different time zones, so I’ve planned 3 separate calls:

For West Coasters: Sunday, June 19, 6-7pm PST

For East Coasters: Sunday, June 19, 7-8pm EST (4:00pm PST)

For Europeans: Sunday, June 19, 9-10pm CET (12:00pm PST)
